Nidhi Apke Nikat 2.0 [NAN 2.0]

 Nidhi Apke Nikat 2.0 [NAN 2.0] as District Outreach Program by EPFO Program was organized at SDMCET Dharwad on 27/09/2024 in DVH Hall, Staff of SDMCET and outside people also attended and got benefitted. 

In this program From EPFO Office Hubballi-Dharwad Sri J A Manjunath, Manjunath Kotabal, Kiran Kumar J S and team addressed  and interacted in the program. Smt. Kausalya from ESIC Branch office Dharwad also addressed in the program. 

The event was coordinated by Dr. S. V. Viraktamath, Prof. Preeti Bellarimath and Dr. Sunil S. Mathad Faculty Dept. of E&CE SDMCET.

The talk was more informative, during interaction all the questions were answered by them. Thanks to all of them. 

 

Few points noted by me (may be right)

·         Avoid duplicate UAN, whenever you change your job not to create new UAN number.

·         Ensure that your name in the organization and in Adhar card is same, even a single character change may create a problem for you later.

·         For ladies names may change – you simply submit the KYC.

·         Organization should ensure – E nomination is done by the employees.

·         One can download UMANG App from Google App and you can see the passbook.

·         Not to withdraw money from your EPFO account, if not so emergency/necessary. You need it after retirement.

·         EPF Office provides you advance for many reasons including – Marriage, Natural calamities, Health issues. During Covid- advances was given by EPF office.

·         If you have contributed more than 10 years to your EPF account then you eligible for pension.

·         If a contributor dies in the middle, then dependent (Widower, widow) will get pension.

·         One can opt for higher pension (Employer should agree/ give consent)

·         Employer should not deduct EPF from the employee once he is 58 years old.  

·         For deferred pension one can submit the application advance. (If you want pension from age 60)

·         If a person has contributed for ESI died there is a provision, ESI will give funeral expenses to the nominee.

·         ESI card holder can opt for reservation for MBBS seat under ESIC quota.

·          Employee should check their all the details and should download their ESI “E” pehachan card.
